Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Leh Arrive at Leh Airport, situated at 3,505 meters (11,567 feet). You will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest and acclimate during the first half of the day to adjust to the high altitude. After lunch, if conditions permit, visit the renowned Shanti Stupa, a Japanese pagoda dedicated to world peace, which was inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1985. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Leh.
Day 2
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing After breakfast, embark on a tour of Leh's notable attractions. Begin with a visit to the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam. Continue along the Indus River to see the Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, a revered Sikh shrine, and the Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Proceed to the Hall of Fame, which houses a museum dedicated to Kargil War memorabilia. Return to your hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Day 3: Leh - Khardung La Pass - Leh After breakfast, drive to Khardung La Pass, located at 5,602 meters (18,380 feet), which is the world’s highest motorable road and serves as a gateway to the Siachen Glacier. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the top of the pass. Afterward, return to Leh and have lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the local markets of Leh at your leisure. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4
Day 4: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh After an early breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, situated at 4,387 meters (14,500 feet). The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours one way and traverses the Chang La Pass, which at 5,360 meters (17,350 feet) is the world’s third-highest motorable road. Pangong Lake, known for its striking blue brackish water, stretches 5-6 kilometers in width and approximately 134 kilometers in length, with 75 percent of the lake extending beyond the Indo-China border. After exploring the lake, drive back to Leh via the same route. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Leh.
Day 5
Day 5: Departure from Leh In the early morning, transfer to Leh Airport to catch your flight home.
