Day 1
Day 1 - Arrival in Srinagar and Local Sightseeing Upon arrival in Srinagar, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your houseboat. After settling in, embark on a local sightseeing tour. Visit the stunning Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Cheshmashahi Garden, each offering picturesque views of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains. Explore the Tulip Garden, Shankaracharya Temple, and Hazratbal Shrine, all located approximately 12 to 15 kilometers from Srinagar. Along the way, stop by a traditional carpet-weaving factory and explore the historic old city of Srinagar. Return to your houseboat for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Day 2 - Srinagar to Gulmarg and Return After breakfast, head to Gulmarg, enjoying the picturesque drive through Tangmarg. Continue on a scenic 14-kilometer route to reach Gulmarg by early afternoon. Upon arrival, embark on a short tour and take a ride on the Gondola cable car system, enjoying an 8-minute ascent with breathtaking views. After an hour at the top, return to Gulmarg and experience some horse-riding. In the evening, drive back to Srinagar and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Day 3 - Srinagar to Pahalgam and Return After breakfast, set out for Pahalgam, traveling through Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, known as the "bread basket of Kashmir." At Khanabal, leave the national highway 1A and continue through Anantnag, the second largest city in Kashmir. The route then becomes particularly scenic as you drive alongside the Lidder River. Upon reaching Pahalgam, you have the option to visit Aru, Betab Valley, and Chandanwari using union cabs (at your own expense). After a day of exploration, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4
Day 4 - Srinagar to Sonamarg and Return After breakfast, embark on a day-long excursion to Sonamarg, also known as the 'Meadow of Gold.' Enjoy a scenic ride up to the glacier on a pony (ponies can be hired on-site). Make the most of your day exploring this beautiful area, and then return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5
Day 5 - Departure from Srinagar After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
